Dorian is a professional dancer and actor who came to yoga over 10 years ago looking to heal and strengthen her physical body. Not only did yoga bring lasting healing for the body, but it also set her on a life-altering course that would bring greater peace of mind and new passion for community service. Today, in addition to teaching yoga, Dorian teaches Musical Theatre and Mindfulness-Based Health Courses to school children from grades 1-8. She also continues to train and perform both as an actor and dancer.
Her desire for life-long learning has earned her several degrees in Theatre, Fitness & Lifestyle Management, and Education. She continues to grow both on and off her mat with the belief that “with each new breath of awareness, greater empathy and compassion are cultivated”.
Students can expect a challenging physical practice in one of Dorian’s classes with a deep connection to their breath. Several seedlings of awareness are carefully sprinkled throughout the class to possibly add greater depth to one’s overall experience.
Dorian teaches a variety of yoga classes including: Moksha, Moksha Flow, Moksha Level 2, Power Flow, and Vinyasa. Dorian has had the privilege of learning from some inspirational yoga mentors including: Ted Grand, Jessica Robertson, YuMee Chung, Joe Barnett and Seane Corn.
